Standing in a centuries-old tradition, the State Mints of Baden-Wuerttemberg issue the art medal series “Inventors from Baden-Wuerttemberg”. The series honours outstanding personalities hailing from our federal state whose creativity has significantly changed our world and thus advanced Baden-Wuerttemberg.
The medals are minted in gold, silver, bronze and cupronickel. For the silver and bronze medals in high relief the State Mints of Baden-Wuerttemberg have developed a special technique that allows for an exceptionally high minting relief.
